Miami Beach car repair shop?

Miami Beach car repair shop?
Does anybody know a good and honest car repair shop in or around Miami Beach, with experience on Mazdas/imports?? I did some hydrolock damage to my 2005 Mazda3 and need to know exactly how bad it is. I live around 8th and Meridian, and I would need my car towed to the repair shop - so the closer, the better. I'm especially looking for honesty and decency... I have little knowledge about engines, and a dishonest shop could easily tell me I need a new engine if they made more money out of it. That's what I want to avoid. Thanks a lot!

bmwtec:  honestly, and im speaking as a master bmw technician, after an engine has any hydrolock period, the only options are: A) take apart the engine completely, send all indiviual connecting rods, piston and crank to a machine shop to be checked for bends and/or cracks. which at that point all components that are bent/cracked even the slightest must be replaced. at the same time however your cylinder head must also be dismantled completely and and all valves and camshaft(s) must be checked mainly for bends, as these components rarely crack. "A" is a good way to check and replace and repair your engine. HOWEVER it is not cheap. the hours of labor and machine shop repairs will kill you. then you still need to buy parts. B) replace the complete "long block" a "long block" is the correct term for and engine that will come basically complete, minus the intake and in some manufacturers the valve cover and obviously wont have electronics, sensors... this way will give you everything that could be damaged, new, and its sure fire to run well. "B" is worry free once you pay to be running like new again. it will cost less hours of labor and there are no machine shop charges involved. it's all around cheaper and safer. plus an added bonus is you can keep your old engine and sell it on ebay to make up for some of your costs for maybe 200-300 bux. "B" is obviously the win-win-win for anyone who knows what they're talking about. "A" is the way to go however if the case is you wanted to do some engine tuning anyway to improve horsepower, cylinder boring, camsaft install, port and polish cylinder heads, bigger valves, all of these things your gonna have to take the engine apart and do all this work anyway, some people use "hydrolock" as they're reason for starting the project. but again, big bux! good luck!
