Can anyone donate a car or repair money?
Can anyone donate a car to me? seriously.? My car was crashed into and my insurance had lapsed because the post office lost my mail because I moved and I didn't realize my insurance lapsed by only three weeks, and I've been with out a car for 3 months. I really need to get a job because I am a single mother and it's like catch 22, without a car, can't get a job, and my repairs will cost 3,150 dollars and that doesn't include the cosmetic damage only the essential inside work. Or can someone donate the 3,150 for me to get the old car out ? I really need a car bad.

:  If you have the wherewithal to post this then you're a very enterprising lady and can probably find honest means of supporting your family. This is a big assumption on my part, but I have faith in you. If you are truly stretched for funds, have you approached local aid organizations?

:  How do we even know that you are telling the truth? What if you are actually some teenager? I don't think that Yahoo Answers is the best place to turn to. You don't nessessarily need a car to get a job. Bike there, or if you're really desperate, see if you can work at the same place one of your neighbors work, and have them give you a ride every day. Make it your temporary job or something, and then buy your car and find a real career.

:  Call your local DSS. They have a program called Work First. They'll help you get a job, daycar, transportaion, etc.

:  If someone else hit your car, I assume you didn't get their insurance to pay for it because you never found or saw the person? You could purchase a car for less than $3150 and save up money to get a decent car. You could find a job near a friend or neighbor so you can carpool. You could get a bike and work within riding distance. You could look into public transportation. You could check with your local charity groups. You could walk.
