Hello, my Toyota Corolla 2000 CE
has a check engine light on,
I went to AutoZone to check it, they gave me a code P0446
What is that, and what do I do to fix it?

another page said that it can be caused from a loose gas cap, my check engine light has been on for almost a year with 'major fuel system leak' as its code, yeah the gas cap too

enzotiger3: you should have asked them at auto zone. my brother also drives a toyota corolla and the check engine light is always on even after he fixed the problem. his car is perfectly fine but he still drives around with the check engine light on.

alexgirl: Sometimes if you don't tighten your gas cap, the check engine light will come on. Make sure when you tighten the gas cap that you hear it click acouple of times. Other than that, AutoZone tech should have helped you out more. Good Luck.
