Toyota camry le 1994 repair help?
what is the hose that connects the air filter and up called? and that hose at the end is broken and how much does it cost and how can I fix the problem by my self? How does that broken hose affect the car performance?

Ironhand: If you are referring to the hose, about 3" in diameter that runs from the air filter assemble to the engine, it is the air induction tube. It is critical that the hose have NO leaks. If there are leaks, then you are allowing un-metered air into the engine, causing performance problems, and possibly loss of engine power. Additionally, air entering the engine at this location is un-filtered air. Recommend replacing the hose, though it is expensive from Toyota. You might try a wrecking yard. If funds are tight, a good TEMPORARY repair might be possible by patching the break with duct tape. Good Luck
