CV Joint repair question for a 1997 Honda Accord EX w/ manual trans..?
The drivers side half axle does not seem to pry out of the intermediate bearing the way the passenger side half axle pries out of the transmission. Is there some secret to get the half axle on the drivers side to disengage from the intermediate bearing? Thanks.

markie: Honda cv joints are a pain in the butt to remove at times, what you will have to do is bang onto the cv joint stub (the part that goes into the wheel bearing) and try to yank it out at the same time, try not to damage the seal in the manual trans. it may take several tries to yank it out, at the last resort try several long screwdrivers and slowly pry on both sides of the cv shaft agaist the manual trans. Watch out for the trans fluid seeping out!
