stallion1948_lloyd:  its not hard.i got a 88 olds 3.8 and i replaced 1 on mine.all you do is disconnect the neg.cable of the battery and take off the belt and the wheel of the water pump and there it is.it has 1 bolt, you take out and just put the new 1 back in and tighten the bolt and put on the pulley and belt, then wait a few seconds and hook up the battery.hope this helps you.

TripleXXXrated:  No its not really that expensive at all. Probably run you 100-150 dollars depending on how much the sensor is. Its very easy to change if you know where it is and have the tools for the job.
