Are they any commercial auto repair shops that take payments?
I was just wondering if there were any repair shops that are national, that are willing to take payments on a big car bill? This may seem like a silly question, but it's worth asking.

the_cheeze_cop: I would have to say YES. Not everyone can pull major money out of the .... back pocket. Just ask the counter person if they do off the 'EZ Payment Plan'. If they don't, don't make the appointment.

me: YES -- in fact, virtually EVERY shop that works on your car will not only accept payment, but will EXPECT payment. more seriously - If you don't have the funds for full payment immediately - use a credit card - that is your way to make installment payments on the repair bill.
