car repair questions please help?
I have a '99 Ford Taurus. In the past year I have replaced the transmission-fuel filter-several other things. Last night I was driving home and after driving about 30 miles the car would just not go. I would push the gas and nothing- it was like it wasn't getting any gas. I do not believe it is the tranmission. I'm wondering if it is egr valve or sensor. Any other ideas.

Good deeds get noticed:  Check your fuel pump relays. If there are okay. check the fuel pump and get the fuel delivery system cleaned.

gary o:  Could be the fuel pump or fuel pressure regulator. Since the pump is in the tank it would be an expensive fix. Also check the fuel pump relay to make sure it has not failed.

Kristine H:  exhaust might be restricted. Was the check engine light on, it might show that a input sensor may also be faulty.
