What is this ticking sound on my computer?
My volume does not work on my computer and I do not have a sound card yet but I can hear a ticking sound on my computer and the keyboard lights up when I dont touch it.what is going on here.what could this be?

Jack S: Could be that someone switched out your computer with a bomb.... j/k it could be a lot of things, including bad wiring, dying motherboard, overheating. You might try cracking the case open and using some compressed air to blow out any dust that might be gumming up the works (make sure you unplug it before you do that).

aditya m: The keyboard lighting up could be just a feature with the keyboard. The ticking sound is probably some hardware in your computer that is not tightly fixed in with the rest of the hardware.
