Toyota Corolla Speedometer Sensor?
My speedometer made a swishing sound and does not work.
Is there a relay or sensor and how do I replace this in a Toyota Corolla 1997 4 cyclinder.

The Speedo Repairman: hi... i can not say for sure...but it may be the speed sensor...this is located on the transmissions. since this is a 1997; the speedometer is driven using pulses and no cable....it is quite possible that the speedometer may be bad also..... best to have a mechanic look at it....should be quite easy to troubleshoot..
