toyota corolla?

toyota corolla?
i live in england and ive been offered a 2000 (x) toyota corolla 1.4 GS, can anyone tell me how much it would cost to change the cassette player to a cd player as the cassette player was designed for the car so a strandard one won't fit,

Heathen:  Contact your local Halfords. I think they have an installation service as long as you buy the player from them. Buy it anyway. The Corolla is the best selling car globally, and wont let you down.

santa sid:  check to see if the stereo will be able to connect a CD multichanger first, then you should not need to tear the dashboard apart. The top range models do this so i would imagine that you should be ok.

emce:  It wont cost much just get an after market CD player installed... you could probably keep the tape deck and link it to a multi disk changer in your trunk, glove box or somewhere else you could stash it; my finace installed one flush in a rear seat once.

MoneyMan:  For just a guestimate only about $250 U.S dollars...Don't know how much that would = in England!
