'95 toyota corolla?
I just bought a 95' Toyota Corolla and I wanted to know what everyone has thought about them... Such as how much it takes to fill it up [[gas]] and what's the problems you have had with it... Does it have enough room to travel with a 10 month old baby? How big is the trunk on it? Basically, My neighbor found this car for me and he always comes across nice cars because of him being a mechanic and all so I know it's a good car, I just wanted to know what the pro's and con's with it!

henrysol:  I also have a corolla (my wifes) transporting a baby around is kind of hard if its the rear facing seat... front seat needs to be way up front. trunk wise lots of room the trunk goes all the way to the back seat allowing to place the stroller inside longwise. gas its good i think we fill up with 28 dollars. if you travel with alot of people might want to consider something bigger.

MickeyRenee:  I LOVE Toyota Corollas. I have had 3 of them-a 1994, a 1998, and a 2001. I generally just trade them in for a newer model, but they are great cars and I've never had a problem with them. I generally get between 32-35 miles per gallon. There is enough room to comfortably fit 4 people, or squeeze in 5 if you put 3 kids in the back. The trunk isn't huge but it's large enough to fit in a couple week's worth of groceries. Enjoy your new car!

David:  I have owned a 96 corolla (same exact car) for a little over a year and have had a great time with it. The only problems I have had were spawned from the dealer I bought it from (the radiator was bad and full of stop-leak that gave way eventually). It has a 12 gallon tank on it so filling up is not terrible and mine will run 450+ miles per tank (450/12 = about 38mpg). I would say it absolutely has enough space for a 10-month baby and anything you want to bring as I have fit a full 5 piece drum set with hardware, cymbals ect, 3 guitars, a mid-size amp, and a set of congas and still be able to drive. The trunk is deceivingly large, it looks small but will fit a lot of stuff in it. working on the car is easy as I have done most repairs myself. The issue with repairs I have had was that the clutch is hard to get to (mine is 5 spd manual) which makes it a timely or expensive repair the timing belt is also in this category and ranges in the few hundred dollars to replace (should be done every 60,000 miles) . Other than those last two this car is reliable, inexpensive and great on gas.

John W:  i had a 99 corolla and it was one of the best cars that i have ever owned. i drove it under a truck and it still drove me home 14 miles away from the accident scene. i never had any problems with it , just keep up on the oil changes and it will last forever
