estimate to have the repair done on a 2001 Yukon XL?
Had a minor fndor bender and my rear bumper has been pushed down a tiny bit. Any guesses on an estimate to have the repair done on a 2001 Yukon XL?

Matthew:  Chances are you're gonna have to have the whole bumper replaced. Depending on where you get it, they might suggest replacing the framework behind the bumper. This isn't them trying to milk money out of you; it legitimately helps. You're looking at about 75 for the bumper. 100 to paint it. Another couple hundred to put it on. Front bumpers typically cost about 400-500 dollars, maybe more. Cheap places will try to to just fix the dent, but it won't fix the integrity of the bumper, it will just a quick cosmetic fix.

Norman:  If it has no paint damage it can be easily repaired. A body shop will probably charge 1 hour $50.00 to $75.00 most likely. If you have a floor jack you can put a piece of two by four between the bumper and jack and jack it up and it might just go back. Watch and don't let it go up too far.
