what is the strange ticking sound in my car?
I just got a 93 toyota corola and just today I noticed that even when my car is turned off it makes an annoying ticking sound that sounds like the turn signal going off in uneven patterns. Sometimes it stops and then starts again. What annd why is it doing this and how can i get it fixed?

Patrick: It honestly just sounds like something clloinh down... every car does this... if it only happened when it was running i would say that it was a wear down on the cam when it make contact with the valve, but thats no it now that i see the fact that it does it shut off too... its more than likely nothing
