45 auto:  Check the connections and battery if there good than jump the solenoid and see if it runs if not get a marine mechanic and make sure before U change out the unit.

Rob:  find the blue and green wires they will be close together. put 12 volts to either one.. blue is up green is down..ie sky and earth...those wires go straight to the pump motor. if the pump works. its the solenoid, connections or battery. good luck
