Carling:  for power jack repairs your looking at $120 minimum. the part cost $10.00 labor is the rest, that is if all goes well.. Laptops are no easy thing to work on, I have never worked on a Dell, Hp i would not touch again Toshiba are not that difficult but still not that easy, if you don't have a workshop manuals it's hit or miss
