Just bought a 2003 Corolla from a Toyota dealership. It drives fantastic but I noticed that when in idle the car vibrates a bit (when waiting at the red light). Also: when I looked closer the rpm indicator is not perfectly stable and when I start the engine it is something above 0rpm (should it not be zero?), is that all normal or am I just panicking? I have a 2003 Corolla ascent that the central locking now doens't work properly. Batteries have been checked. As you push the remotes the light still goes. The car locks do nothing. If you hold the remote directly under the steering wheel, the locking system works, but as soon as you move the remote further away, it will no loonger work. Is there something wrong with sensors? My 1989 Toyota Corolla (Carbuerated) was running rough, i put new plugs, wires, cap, and carbuerator rebuild kit on as well as changing the oil. runs good now but when the engine is warm and i go to shut it off it runs on for a few seconds. I think I need to replace the motor mounts in the wife's 1994 Toyota Corolla. The engine runs fine but it vibrates the whole car when it's started up cold.
